The Blossom Street Collection
If you haven’t heard, Universal Yarn has partnered with Debbie Macomber to create the Blossom Street Collection. This collection is a variety of yarns and pattern books. I did two designs for the Blossom Street Collection Book 3 using the Cashmere Fleur de Lys yarn. This yarn is a delightfully soft worsted weight merino/cashmere blend in nice subtle colors.
The first sweater is the Twisted Vines Cardigan. This sweater has bold lace panels running up the front openings and a ribbing that widens at the neck. There are no front closures, but there are instructions for knitting a belt.
Note that it made the cover shot, too. Woot! (I totally have to thank my sister Laura for knitting this one up.)
My second sweater for the collection is the Lake Side Cardigan, which is a kimono style sweater with lace borders. It is knit in two colors, but would also be pretty in a single color. (Laura helped with the sleeves on this one, too.)
I am excited for this book and for this yarn to become available. I believe the release date for both is August!
